Our GroundsCoulscott has 12 acres of gardens and grounds for guests to use. There are streams, ponds, wooded areas, lawns, meadows and fields. Please explore the grounds which are rich in wildlife. The maps provided in the cottages show where guests may go.With the exception of Bantam every cottage has it's own terrace and/or lawn. (Bantam has it's own seating area in the communal courtyard). Our free range peafowl wander through out the grounds, please do not feed them- or it encourages them to spend time in areas of our grounds where they may be attacked by foxes. The animal enclosure is by our ponds and contains the pigs, goats, alpacas, ducks, chickens (and sometimes the peafowl). The animals are always happy to see our guests down here. There is a green lane behind the green house which leads in to our 4 and 6 acre fields, this is the only area of Coulscott where dogs may be off the lead.. These are rather steep but very beautiful, with a lovely wooded stream running along the bottom. The children’s play area is near the cottage court yard including swings, climbing frame, slide, trampoline and football goal. Grounds Gallery |
